When finishing stainless steel, it is important that it is treated correctly. This is the only way to guarantee rust resistance.
We have a separate pickling location where, in addition to an immersion bath, we also have a 200-m2 barrier floor where all of our products are treated.

It will often take a couple of years for the difference of correct pickling to emerge. It is therefore important to treat the objects carefully, using the correct products.

 Heavy metals are released during the pickling process.
GPI has invested in a fully automated treatment system which comes with the guarantee that none of these substances end up in the environment. This system treats and processes the scouring water so that the heavy metals can be discharged separately.
 
This enables GPI to treat products in accordance with current environmental legislation.
